Man Who Watches Paint Dry
Unless you are a skydiving lion tamer, chances are your job tends to get tedious from time to time. You might even compare it to “watching grass grow” or more commonly “watching paint dry”. For some folks though, such a comparison is downright insulting, seeing as they have made a career out of observing drying paint.
One such person is Keith Jackson from the UK, who for the last 30 years, has been assessing the time it takes for his company’s paint to dry. By gently touching test area on his work station wall, Mr. Jackson times how long it takes for a paint to stop being wet. It might seem horribly unnecessary, but keep in mind that there are places out there which have to occasionally be painted in record fast time (like subway stations or freeways), and it’s up to Mr. Jackson to see just how his company’s formula is holding up.
This certainly isn’t a career option full of laughter and excitement, but “watching paint dry” must be a fantastic conversation starter.

1. Tigress and Piglets
In Bangkok, there is a tiger named Saimai. She nurses piglets that are dressed in tiger striped coats. These piglets have a mother, but the zoo puts them with the tigers. The tiger cubs get to have a sow as a mother. The tiger treats the piglets like they are hers. She has no problem raising these rambunctious little animals.
2. Macaque and Rabbit
BoonLau is a long tail macaque. He lives in a temple while being cared for by the monks. He stays in a cage. He is crippled, because of an attack by dogs. He was able to drag himself to the temple and the monks called a veterinarian to help him out. He only has one arm. The monks felt that the macaque needed a friend, so they got him a rabbit. Toby, the rabbit and BoonLau are the best of friends and they are never seen a part.

The Russian advertising company “Good” has created this funny ad showing different helmet designs, like for example diamonds, a globe, different kinds of balls and even body parts. Imagine how cool it would be if someone really produced helmets like these.

But for a perfect breed the ears can only curl so far, if they curl so much that they touch the skull they are disqualified from shows. This is another cat that is considered to be very unique because of its ears. This cat’s ears do not grow very much from the time the cat is a kitten and they never stand up, rather they fold down at about three weeks of age. This cat is perhaps one of this most adorable that you will ever see because they keep their small ears which makes them look like a kitten throughout their entire life.
