There is a strange connection between human beings and animals. Sometimes it is a pet and his owner taking a walk in the park, other times animals show some forms of behavior that is reserved for humans, like cats opening doors by jumping on the door knob, or a dog laying in his masters favorite chair and watching TV. Our pets supply us with very funny and interesting moments, that is for sure.
But, people can act like animals, too. No need to explain those moments.

peacock spider 2 in 1
The Peacock spider or Gliding spider (Maratus volans) is a species of jumping spider. The red, blue and black colored males have flap-like extensions of the abdomen with white hairs that can be folded down. They are used for display during mating: the male raises his abdomen, then expands and raises the flaps so that the abdomen forms a white-fringed, circular field of color. The species, and indeed the whole genus Maratus have been compared to peacocks in this respect. The third pair of legs is also raised for display, showing a brush of black hairs and white tips. While approaching the female, the male will then vibrate raised legs and tail, and dance from side to side.

Seemingly animated illusions are interesting for what they stand for, but when you take their floating sample and fuse it with something purposeful, then you’re on right tracks to get noticed. For example, take the billboard posters we saw recently. What we have here today is an interesting maze puzzle, spiced with an additional optical illusion obstacle. You can open the picture in full-size to get the stronger effect. Do you notice anything strange when you try to find your way from point S to point E?

When Dan and Brieuc both submitted this flick, I thought it’s a nice video, but doesn’t bring much new to our world of optical illusions. Then the next day came, and I started receiving the exact same submission (from more sources), over and over again. It really appears people who saw this would like to share their experience. So I decided in favor of presenting Brusspup’s Anamoprhic Candles video. There you have it. It’s not that bad when I think of it, it’s just not something I find that extraordinary.
BTW, as Brieuc properly pointed, this is kinda similar to chalk drawing illusions, except made with candles. For more anamorphic stuff, be sure to check the corresponding tags and categories – #Anamorphic and Anamorphosis category!

face transplant
An unnamed Spanish farmer, who accidentally shot himself in the face with a shotgun five years ago, has received the first full face transplant in the world. The shot destroyed his face from his eye sockets and downwards; miraculously, however, his eyes and vision were not damaged.
The team of 30 doctors performed the transplant at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. The doctors operated for more than 20 hours.

Having enough money always leads to some fun times. However, you don’t have to have thousands of dollars to have fun. There are other ways of having fun with your money (other than the obvious).
You can use your bills to create impressive illusions. This is a way of showing your creativity and showing the world your view of the famous people that are on bills. I guess some of them would be honored by the way you perceive them.

Breast Implants Can Save Your Life
The comparison of b00bies to automobile airbags is as old as breast fascination itself. Cavemen probably made that joke in their cave drawings. But it turns out it might not just be sexism on the men’s part, because in at least one documented case, a woman’s life was saved in car crash when her silicone augmented breasts acted as airbags-like cushioning devices.
In 2006 a women from the Bulgarian city of Ruse was in a pretty horrific car accidents that left both cars totaled. She and the other driver survived but in her case it was thanks solely to those bigger plastic tits which took upon themselves the force of the impact, rupturing right there on the spot and leaving the women alive, though heavily deflated.

Hyper Realist Sculptor - Ron Muech
There is a point, when sculpturing, at witch taking great care of details leads to creating hyper realistic artwork that cannot be set apart from the real world objects it is supposed to represent. Ron Muech sculptures are just that, extraordinary realistic work that seems real even after looking at it for the tenth time.
About the artist:
Ron Mueck was born on 1958 is an Australian hyper realist sculptor working in Great Britain. Mueckรข€™s early career was as a model maker and puppeteer for children’s television and films, notably the film Labyrinth for which he also contributed the voice of Ludo.
Mueck moved on to establish his own company in London, making photo-realistic props and animatronics for the advertising industry.
Although highly detailed, these props were usually designed to be photographed from one specific angle hiding the mess of construction seen from the other side. Mueck increasingly wanted to produce realistic sculptures which looked perfect from all angles.

Now this is an interesting tattoo but I think that eventually it may become a tattoo that they will regret. As someone who has a wrist tattoo having something that you are going to see almost constantly every day it really has to be something important and personal. But just maybe this tattoo will keep it’s novelty and be cool to the person who has it. At least I really hope so.
